A DSL/Cable connection is preferable to download large files, but a scopist can also use the services of Kinko's or a friend who has a high-speed connection


The time it takes to download a file depends on the speed of the connection. DSL/Cable are faster than Dial-up. Dial-up connections have quality problems and are sometimes disconnected before file transferring is complete


Some ISP (cable) providers have no limitations to file attachment size. Both sender and receiver have to have an ISP that has no limitation. Check with your ISP to see if there are any limitations on the size of files you can send or receive.
